Cherrell Triplett M.D., a native of Chicago, competed her undergraduate studies at Princeton University with a degree in Civil Engineering and Operations Research. She worked for eight years in the field of management consulting and corporate finance prior to completing her medical training at Loyola University School of Medicine in Maywood, IL. After completing her residency at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, she served as teaching faculty and Assistant Director of the Medical Student Clerkship in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. While there, she received the APGO Excellence in Teaching Award. She has served as Chairperson of the Perinatal Patient Care Committee at Franciscan St. Francis Medical Center and previous member of the PROBE Committee for Resident Education. Dr. Triplett currently serves on the Obstetrics Patient Care Committee. She is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Marion University School of Medicine and at the Indiana University School of Medicine. She is also a faculty speaker for Hologic, Inc. – a leading company on women’s healthcare.
Dr. Triplett enjoys providing care for women at all stages of life. She has a special interest in high risk pregnancy, management of abnormal pap smears, adolescent gynecological care, management of abnormal uterine bleeding, treatment of fibroids, use of endometrial ablation, and minimally invasive surgery.
Dr. Triplett is single. In her free time she enjoys listening to live music, reading, traveling, interior and fashion design and Bikram yoga.
